Kevin Blackwell just missed out on the 'Manager of the Month' for Feb despite The Whites not losing a game during the month, both KB and Ian Dowie of Palace were beaten to the award by Boothroyd the Watford manager. The fact that both managers were so close to the award this month should remind everybody how tough this weekend's game is going to be. Assuming all 7 Whites players come back from international duty unscathed I think we are in with a shout, we also have Shaun Derry back and he will be desperate to do well.


It is going to be a tough game and one that can go either way but it is also one that we need to be winning what with the Blunts getting a bye this week or as good as at home to Crewe and Watford at home to Derby, those 2 are bound to win so we need to do the same to stay in touch.


I think we can all forget Reading including Sheff U, so the only other teams we should be bothered about now are Preston at home to Ipswich where I fancy a draw as Ipswich are going well and Wolves who are I think the only other team now that could possibly prevent us getting in the top 6, they are away to QPR and I also think they will draw, If they do and we take 3 points home from London then we are definite top 6.
