Leeds United v Norwich City Preview

The stay away fans seem to have responded to KB’s plea to get down to Elland Road and support their team in this vital last 10 games with advanced ticket sales suggesting that we could be looking at a 27,000 crowd.

Nothing like the 40,000 we were getting in the premiership of course but 5,000 more than this seasons average.
The fans who do come down to ER are likely to see an unchanged Leeds team from the team who played so well at Palace last week as Simon Walton is suspended and the long term injured are not yet ready to come back.

Norwich are likely to be unchanged too from the team that beat Stoke 2-1 last week so a return for Darren Huckerby, it will be interesting to compare Eddie Lewis to the man who did very little whilst wearing a White shirt, I expect Lewis to come out well on top as I do the Whites as a whole, it is not that long ago these lot were stuffed by Palace.

I predict 3-1 to the Whites.

Come on Leeds!!!!!

Leeds United v Watford Preview

I seem to be saying this before every game these days but this one really is an important game for us to win and it looks like we're going to have to do it without both Richard Cresswell and Rob Hulse.
That could mean Ian Moore making a rare start up front with David Healy, other than that I think Leeds will line up as they were against Derby.

Watford as we know are flying at the moment and their front men will really cause our less than quick defenders a few problems, if we manage to come through this game with a clean sheet I will be surprised but as always we are also capable of scoring.

On the positive side somebody at Elland Road had the good sense to insert a clause into the deals taking Clarke Carlisle and Matt Spring to Watford preventing them from playing tonight, which may just disrupt Watford enough for us to get on top early.
If we can keep their front men quiet and our midfield 3 get hold of the game more than they have done of late then we can get the 3 points that will surely take us closer to Sheff U, who I cannot see getting anything at Reading.

I predict 2-2 and to be honest I would settle for that now.

Come on Leeds!!!!!
