Richard CresswellJust one change for The Whites from the draw with the Tractor Boys with David Healy replacing Rob Hulse. Because of a lack of fit keepers at the club, QPR started with one they only signed at lunchtime today from Sheff U. I'm surprised the south Yorkshire plodders did not offer them the use of Paddy Kenny to try and stop us.
The visitors put plenty of men behind the ball as we dominated possession but created little until 39 when Richard Cresswell headed in an Eddie Lewis free kick to give us the lead.

Paul Butler

Half Time
The second half just had to be better than the first, and it was. Both teams had chances, Cresswell and Lewis were always involved but Healy was quiet and it was no surprise to me when he was taken off on 71 and replaced by Robbie Blake who was soon followed by Rob Hulse replacing Cresswell. On 84 we deservedly got our second through the prolific Paul Butler with an excellent header and that made the game safe.

It was a better effort than Ipswich in midweek but I still think there should be much more to come from the boys, next time out KB should have more options in midfield with Bakke and Griffiths available.

If Watford can do us a favour on Monday automatic promotion is still on, today’s results though have helped cement a play off spot, we are now 13 points clear of the Joneses in 7th with a game in hand.

Next up Derby.

Come on Leeds!!!!
