Another point towards our quest for world domination and one I think we deserved. The locals around me were going mental at the perceived injustice when the ref pointed to the spot but based on chances throughout the game one each was a fair result. Leeds started off much the better team with Cresswell causing major problems down the right but after a positive start The Whites started to find themselves under pressure, in particular from the speedy Danny Haynes, who later spent much of the match relaxing on the turf, at one point he must have spent 5 minutes out of 15 on his arse.
Speed def: Something our central defenders cannot easily cope with.

Just before H.T. their keeper made a fantastic save from Hulse but the teams went in all square.
Disaster just after half time when Haynes showed some of the previously mentioned speed left our defence near the half way line and placed a shot into the corner. Minutes later the same kid went round the outside of Butler and smashed a sitter against the bar, another goal then and we would have been up the creek. On 76 we were unlucky not to equalize when their keeper made another great save from Hulse, after that it was end to end until we forced a series of corners culminating in the one in which De Vos handled in the area giving us our penalty and sending the woman in front of me into an apoplectic rage, she was so incensed she threw her checked blanket on the floor. Needless to say she was not happy when Healy coolly converted, in fact I thought we could go on and win it after that, the cucumber sandwiches would have been flying at the ref from all angles if we had.

Next up QPR on Saturday, we could do with 3 points from that one.
